SABIX® R flex Data IQ USB 3.0 - Data cable for rail vehicles in accordance with EN 45545-2
The SABIX® R flex Data IQ USB 3.0 (USB 3.2 Gen 1x1) is a high-performance USB 3.0 data cable for rail vehicles and was specifically developed to meet the requirements of modern railway technology. It enables reliable high-speed data transmission in on-board networks and supports applications such as infotainment systems, diagnostic and maintenance interfaces, and in-vehicle communication solutions.
With a defined characteristic impedance of 90 Ω ± 10% and effective overall shielding, the cable ensures stable signal quality even in electromagnetically demanding environments. The halogen-free design reduces smoke development and corrosive gases in the event of a fire. The cable meets the fire protection requirements R15 (EL1A) and R16 (EL1B) according to EN 45545-2 for hazard levels HL1 and HL2. This makes it suitable for use inside and outside rail vehicles as well as for safety-related digital interfaces in the railway sector.
