Multimedia interfaces & data rate
Our new cable is designed for modern multimedia and data interfaces. It supports DVI Dual-Link, HDMI, DisplayPort, and USB 3.0 / USB 3.2 Gen 1x1, enabling fast, stable, and loss-free transmission of image, video, and data signals. This makes it ideal for high-resolution displays, camera systems, and data-intensive applications in automotive and industrial environments.
Fire protection & standards
The cable meets the strict requirements of EN 45545-2 with classes R15 (EL1A) and R16 (EL1B) for hazard levels HL1 and HL2. It also complies with UN/ECE R118 flame resistance requirements. These certifications make it a safe choice for use in rail vehicles and other safety-critical areas.
Comprehensive safety concept
Safety is paramount: The cable is halogen-free in accordance with EN 50306-1 and EN 50264-1, which means that no corrosive gases are produced in the event of a fire. In addition, it is low-corrosivity in accordance with IEC 60745-2, low-toxicity in accordance with EN 50305, and smoke-tight in accordance with EN 61034. It therefore makes a significant contribution to the protection of people, equipment, and electronics.
Robustness & flexibility
Developed for use in demanding conditions, the cable is flame-retardant and self-extinguishing in accordance with IEC 60332-1-2 and has been tested for bundle burning in accordance with IEC 60332-3-25. It is also oil and fuel resistant in accordance with EN 50264-1. These properties guarantee a long service life even in harsh environments with high mechanical and chemical stresses.
Easy to install
Thanks to its high flexibility, SABIX® R flex Data IQ can be easily installed even in confined spaces. The cable adapts to compact bend radii without straining the insulation, thus reducing the need for additional cable trays. It supports the standardization of modern interfaces and facilitates integration into existing and new systems. This makes installation faster, safer, and easier to plan, even in complex cabling systems.
