Application

Screw-in resistance thermometers with Pt100 RTD elements are used for precise temperature measurement in industrial applications, such as engine test benches and engine compartments. They are particularly suitable for monitoring temperatures at defined measuring points, for example at oil pressure switches or components with identical threads, where a secure and vibration-resistant installation is required.

The screw-in thread ensures a reliable mechanical connection and accurate, reproducible temperature measurement, even under demanding operating conditions. Thanks to their compact design and small sheath diameters, these resistance thermometers provide fast response times and can be easily integrated into confined installation spaces.

The sensors are available with different wiring configurations (2-, 3-, or 4-wire circuit), various sheath diameters, probe and immersion lengths, and a wide selection of threads such as G 1/2 or M6. Depending on the application, versions with or without kink protection can be selected. The FEP/FEP connection cable offers reliable electrical performance and is suitable for industrial environments.

Custom-specific designs, alternative threads, connection cables, cable lengths, and connection ends are available on request, allowing optimal adaptation to the respective measuring task.

Additional information

With a 2-wire circuit only one class accuracy class B accuracy can be confirmed.
Material 1.4541: + 800°C
Please note that the temperature stability of the sensor is determined by the weakest parameters.
