The coupling resistance is a measure of the shielding effect at low frequencies up to a few MHz. The coupling resistance ZT defines the relation of voltage drop U1 along the screen at the disturbed end to the parasitic current 12 at the other end of the screen. The dimension of the coupling resistance is milliohm per meter (mohm/m).
