SABIX® R flex Data IQ HDMI / DVI / DisplayPort - Data cable for rail vehicles in accordance with EN 45545-2
The SABIX® R flex Data IQ HDMI / DVI / DisplayPort is a digital data cable specially developed for railway technology for high-resolution video and multimedia interfaces in rail vehicles. It enables reliable transmission of differential high-speed signals and is suitable for applications such as passenger information systems, display solutions, video surveillance, and infotainment systems in trains.
The cable meets the fire protection requirements R15 (EL1A) and R16 (EL1B) according to EN 45545-2 for hazard levels HL1 and HL2, making it suitable for numerous applications inside and outside rail vehicles. A defined characteristic impedance of 100 Ω ± 10%, effective overall shielding consisting of aluminum foil and tinned copper braid, and a robust, halogen-free construction ensure stable signal transmission even under demanding electromagnetic and mechanical operating conditions.
