Application

SABIX® R flex Data IQ DVI Dual-Link  Data cable for rail vehicles in accordance with EN 45545-2

The SABIX® R flex Data IQ DVI Dual-Link is a digital signal and data cable specially developed for railway technology for high-resolution video transmission in rail vehicles. It was designed for applications with high data rates such as passenger information systems, display solutions in trains, video surveillance, or infotainment systems and enables stable transmission of differential high-speed signals.

The cable meets the fire protection requirements R15 (EL1A) and R16 (EL1B) according to EN 45545-2 for hazard levels HL1 and HL2, making it suitable for numerous applications inside and outside rail vehicles. A defined characteristic impedance of 100 Ω ± 10%, effective overall shielding made of aluminum foil and tinned copper braid, and halogen-free SABIX® material technology ensure reliable signal transmission even under demanding electromagnetic and mechanical operating conditions.
