Highly Flexible Silicone Cable for Energy Storage and Test Benches
The B 107 is a highly flexible, halogen-free single conductor with Besilen® silicone insulation for electrical applications requiring high voltage resistance, exceptional flexibility and a wide operating temperature range. Designed for 1.8/3.0 kV AC and 2.7/5.4 kV DC, this highly flexible silicone cable is particularly suitable for dynamically stressed power wiring.
With an operating temperature range from -40 °C to +180 °C and short-term temperature resistance up to +250 °C, the B 107 can also be used under demanding thermal conditions. Its highly flexible design and small bending radii enable space-saving installation. Available cross-sections from 1 to 300 mm² cover applications ranging from switchboard wiring to high-power energy transmission.
Typical applications include railway technology, current and ground connections, switchboard wiring, energy storage systems, test benches and industrial power wiring. The halogen-free, flame-retardant and weather-resistant design, together with cULus approval, makes the B 107 suitable for applications with increased requirements for safety, environmental resistance and international approvals.
