Surface thermocouple made of twisted thermo cable type K

Application

The Surface Thermocouple Type K is designed for precise temperature measurement in high-voltage environments of electric and hybrid drives. Typical applications include measuring Harpin windings in the stator of an e-drive, where electromagnetic interference from surrounding copper windings should not affect the results.

All thermocouples feature twisted or shielded PI or PFA leads, ensuring maximum EMC stability and flexibility in use. The leads are pair-twisted with diameters ranging from 0.80 to 1.05 mm depending on the type, and are rated for –40 °C to +250 °C, suitable for both stationary and moving applications.

Thermocouples can be supplied with miniature Type K connectors or as bare leads. Standard configurations are provided in the table below.
