High voltage measurement technology
At SAB Bröckskes, we have been developing high-voltage measurement technology for more than a decade - specialized in safe and precise temperature measurement for electric and hybrid vehicles. Our portfolio covers the complete measurement chain: high voltage thermocouples (Type K), HV temperature sensors (PT100/PT1000), HV measuring cables, and HV measurement modules. All components are designed for reliable operation up to 1000 V, with selected versions qualified for even higher voltage ranges and fully compliant with DIN EN 61010.
HV Thermocouples Type K
Our HV thermocouples Type K are widely used in vehicle technology and ensure safe and accurate temperature measurement wherever a robust and durable sensor is required. Typical applications include HV inverters, electric motors, HV batteries, and power electronics. Thanks to their rugged design, these high voltage thermocouples are suitable for both stationary test benches and demanding mobile test drives.
High-Temperature HV Thermocouples
For environments with elevated process temperatures, we also offer high voltage temperature sensors in high-temperature design. These can be applied in the same way as standard HV sensors but are optimized for challenging conditions, such as the thermal curing of insulation materials in electric drive units or other HV components.

HV Temperature Sensors PT100/PT1000
HV resistance temperature sensors (PT100/PT1000) are especially suited for applications that demand a low thermal mass, very short response times, and a slim construction combined with high accuracy. A common use case is the precise temperature measurement between individual cells of a high-voltage battery, where space is limited and exact data is crucial for safe operation.
