Application
The beat‑in / drive‑in mineral insulated thermocouple with cable is designed for precise surface temperature measurement in industrial and automotive applications. This surface thermocouple can be securely mounted by beating or driving it into a prefabricated groove, ensuring stable and reproducible positioning. The measuring point is located behind the copper tip and is easily identifiable by its color difference.
Available as Type K or J, this thermocouple can also be supplied with other thermocouple types or custom sensor variants on request. FEP‑insulated extension cables in lengths from 0.5 m to 10 m (or custom lengths) provide installation flexibility. Optional kink protection increases mechanical durability in demanding environments.
Depending on the type, the measurement range reaches up to +750 °C for Type J and +1000 °C for Type K. In combination with high‑temperature materials (up to +1100 °C), this drive‑in thermocouple delivers a reliable, durable, and precise solution for surface temperature monitoring.
