Surface thermocouple with pipe clamp
Application
Pipe clamp thermocouples, also referred to as surface temperature probes or clamp-on thermocouples, are specifically designed for reliable pipe-mounted temperature measurement on pipes and pipe connections, such as those found in air conditioning systems, cooling circuits, and fluid lines. The sensor is attached directly to the pipe using a robust pipe clamp, enabling accurate temperature detection without penetrating the medium.
Depending on the application, thermocouple types K or J are available. The thermocouple is combined with a temperature-resistant connection cable and can be supplied with various pipe clamp sizes to ensure optimal thermal contact and reproducible measurement results.
Thanks to flexible configuration options including clamp diameter, cable length, connection type, and optional certification, these pipe thermocouples are ideally suited for industrial applications, building services engineering, and energy systems.
