Torsion Cables for Robotics and Industrial Applications

Torsion cables, such as our PUR torsion cables RT 123 and RT 123 D, are designed for robotics, automation, and machine applications. They allow permanently flexible torsion movements with angles up to ±450° per 0.5 meters and are ideal for applications where cable carriers cannot be used.

These cables combine torsion and bending flexibility under moderate mechanical stress and offer high resistance to abrasion, oil, water, and many chemicals. Typical applications include robots, handling systems, packaging and woodworking machines, textile or cutting equipment, drive, control, and measurement systems, as well as general machinery and plant engineering. Variants with or without copper shielding ensure optimal adaptation to the respective control and data systems.
