Halogen-free, permanently flexible cables for demanding applications

The SABIX® Ultra product range comprises halogen-free, permanently flexible cables and wires for applications with high requirements in terms of safety, flexibility and resistance. Thanks to the specially developed sheath material, the cables are suitable for use in industry, railway technology and other safety-critical areas where halogen-free materials are required.

In the event of a fire, halogen-free cables produce significantly fewer corrosive gases and help to reduce damage to people, electronic equipment and infrastructure. At the same time, SABIX® Ultra cables offer high resistance to oil, fuel, acids and alkalis as well as permanent flexibility for applications involving movement.

The product range includes data cables, shielded data cables, pair-twisted data cables and control cables, each also available with an overall copper shield. In addition to being halogen-free, the cables also meet high requirements for fire behaviour in accordance with IEC 60332-3 Category C or D and NF C 32-070 C1, making them suitable for applications with increased fire protection requirements.
