Mineral Insulated Thermocouples for Industrial Temperature Measurement
Mineral insulated thermocouples are versatile temperature sensors for precise measurement tasks under demanding industrial conditions. Due to their mineral insulated construction, our thermocouples offer high mechanical stability, short response times, and reliable temperature measurement, even at high temperatures, under vibration, or in chemically aggressive environments. Typical areas of application include mechanical and plant engineering, process engineering, and test and measurement technology.
As an experienced manufacturer with over 75 years' expertise, we develop and produce customised thermocouples that are precisely matched to their intended application. The type of thermocouple used depends on the measurement task. Type K and J thermocouples are frequently used as they have proven applications and are robust in industrial environments. Other thermocouple types are available on request.

Types and Designs of Mineral Insulated Thermocouples
We offer a wide range of designs and connection options, from miniature thermocouples to versions with or without connecting cables, to variants with thermocouple plugs, connection heads, or threads. Special solutions for tight installation situations or high temperatures are also available. Various insulation materials are available for versions with connecting cables: PVC connection cables for temperatures from −30 to +70 °C, silicone connection cables for temperatures from −40 to +180 °C, and PFA connection cables for temperatures from −90 to +250 °C. We also offer a range of accessories including protective fittings, connecting elements, and high-temperature components.
Individual configuration, special solutions, and consulting
Our thermocouples can be customized for specific applications. Depending on the area of application, the thermocouples, sheath diameters, materials, nominal lengths, measuring tips, and connecting elements can be selected individually. Optional accessories such as thermocouple connectors or high-temperature couplings can be integrated. This results in tailor-made solutions for reliable, durable, and precise temperature measurement.
